oxo goodgrips
For a household tools brand, Oxo Goodgrips is particularly design-forward. Their aesthetic is very clean with a very reduced color palate of primarily black, white, grey and red. However, there is a friendly softness to the curves and forms used in the tools they produce. I wanted to play up the joys of owning and using this company's products, so I created an intentionally playful color palate and expressed it through the objects that the tools would be used with.

It this self portrait, I was trying to capture mood. As I state in the text, I am at a point of change in my life. This self portrait is meant to convey a sense of what has been and what is to come. What is behind me is dark and obscured, what is ahead is unseen, and where I am now is somewhat unfocused but very vivid. Side 2 is a timeline of my life as seen through my footware.
